Greece Visa Requirements and Application Procedures Eligibility
Schengen Visa is issued to all the foreigners traveling into Greece. There are different visa policies for travelers and is based upon their nationality.
Who will require a visa?
Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa in order to visit and stay in Greece for a period of 90 days:

Required Necessary Documents:
The necessary documents required for the issue of visa are:
• A passport with 6 month validity
• Completely filled visa application form along with photocopies of the same
• Ample number of passport size photographs
• Flu vaccination certificate
• Round trip airline tickets along with photocopies of the same
• Bank statements, pay-in slips and proof of possession of sufficient amount of funds in order to bear all personal expenses during the period of stay
• Letter of confirmation from institute/ company for students and employees
Time required for issue of Visa:
The time required to process and issue of visa depends upon the nationality of the applicant. The issuing time is generally between 1 to 2 weeks. Applicants are advised to keep sufficient hand in time for issuing a visa.
Costs involved in issuing visa:
The cost involved in issuing visa also depends upon the nationality of the applicant. The spouse and children of nationals of European countries are issued visa for free of cost on submission of necessary certificates. The processing and issuing of a visa varies from US$20 to US$45.
Validity of Visa:
Both the Tourist visa and the Business visas issued to the travelers are valid for 90 days only. On expiration of visa, foreigners have to depart from Greek territory. Travelers must consult there nearest Greek consulate and embassy for latest updates on visa issuing policies.
