Brazil Visa Requirements and Application Procedures Eligibility
The Brazilian Immigration Authority is the sole organization who looks after the legal entry and exit of all foreign nationals.
Who will require a visa?
Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa in order to stay in Brazil for a period of 90 days:

Czech Republic
Denmark

The Netherlands

Inhabitants of all other countries require a visa to visit Brazil.
Required Necessary Documents:
The necessary documents required for the issue of visa are:
• A passport with 6 months validity
• Two completely filled visa application forms along with photocopies of the same
• Required number of Passport size photographs. Generally two for student visa and 1 for tourist visa
• Proof of possession of sufficient funds to bear all personal expenses during the period of stay
• To and fro travel tickets along with its photocopies
• Health certificate
• Bank statements and pay-in slips
• Payment receipt of the consular fee
Time required for issue of Visa
The time required to issue a visa depends upon the nationality of an applicant. A maximum of 3 weeks is required in processing and issuing of a Brazilian visa.
Costs involved in issuing visa:
The cost of visas issued by different Brazilian consulates may vary according to the nationality of the applicants. A maximum of £130 is required to issue a tourist, business or a transit visa.
Validity of Visa:
Student visas are valid up to 1 year whereas Tourist visas are valid for maximum of 90 days. On expiry, tourists can apply for an extended stay to the visa issuing authorities.
